For me, my Joie de Vivre altered books really represent me. The style I use creating them is a lot looser and freer than I can let myself be when doing my detailed flower paintings. Don't get me wrong, I love doing both, but I feel that my altered books reveal a bit more of my personality.
So I finished a new Joie book with tags and new for me a removable bookmark.
Have a great day, I'm off to arrange flowers.....
Cheers!

Really fantastic :D
As much as I love your floral paintings, I also love the posts that showcase your altered books. It's good that you recognize the looser, freer side of your art. I truly believe that by freeing yourself of "rules" in your ABs, you look at your structured paintings in a new and freer way. By studying and making your structured paintings, you loosen up when making your ABs. I think the two compliment each other, and your art benefits from both. I really love this post because it says a lot about you!
I hope your Easter was wonderful.
Stephanie, that is the most lovely book ever! Wow, I can certainly see what you mean about it feeling more like it fits your personality, simply for how much is shows that you loved creating it. :)
Thank you for sharing.
