Here's my finished painting inspired by one of my favorite artists; Mucha- I love how he combined two of my favorite subject matters; women and flowers and stylized their surroundings into pattern. I had so much fun with this!
Please excuse the glare; I didn't think to photograph this before I'd glazed it. I just have to attach the inside papers. drill the holes and weave it together and then it will be my newest journal. I'm really enjoying doing these little paintings- it feels so GOOD to be able to finish a painting in a few hours- definitely not a normal occurrence for me ;)
Be sure to stop by to see the gorgeous gallery of art at Inspiration Avenue- as always, it will be an amazing experience- I promise!

OMG this is gorgeous! She has a perfect profile and the background and her hair are in the curvy style of art nouveau. Though all the other entries are creative and fun, I think this is perhaps the most faithful representation of the style of any of the entries. She's really lovely.
She really is stunning, as I predicted yesterday. And of course, I like that you were able to finish her in less than a week. I know some of your paintings have taken you nearly a month to complete. And this is stunning to boot. Did I mention this is stunning?
Absolutely fantastic! Hugs, Valerie
Just stunning, Steph! This might be my absolute favorite of all your paintings, although it would be tough to choose. Anyway, who wouldn't be inspired to have a journal with this on the cover. Gorgeous!
Oh wow it was great before but its totally stunning now. x
It is so obvious that you loved this challenge because this is just too beautiful... taking careful note that all the blooms and botanicals in it are nice and loose, and this will be the most beautiful journal... freaking out over the drilling holes bit... I would slip and take off and arm of it would end up looking like she had a tattoo on her face or something... xx
I knew you'd produce something stunning for this challenge Steph and I wasn't wrong! Gorgeous rich colour and flowing shapes - I just love it!!
oh so beautiful!!! absolutely Art Nouveau!
This is just so beautiful, Stephanie! I knew you would shine in this challenge! Your journals are fabulous!!! ♥♥♥
Absolutely gorgeous :). What a wonderful journal to create in.
Stay inspired!
This is soooo great, I love Mucha and art Nouveau and you did a great job with it! It'll be a great journal!
