More Pansies....

Here I am the second week in a row with more pansies to share.  I have two more mini canvases sketched out and ready paint and then I think I'll have them out of my system!  Maybe.  I will be starting on Christmas presents next week, so I'll definitely have something different to share then ;)
For now; here's my new pansy painting; so new, it doesn't even have a title yet!  I say it's finished, but I see spots here and there that I might be tweaking- no promises.
This is a 4"x 4"  "block" canvas (meaning it's 1" deep)
right now, the only tweaking I want to do is to make the veins a little more delicate
And here's one I showed last week, I did a little more, but it still needs
touch ups here and there- it's close tho!

I'm sharing this with Paint Party Friday- my favorite weekly blog party- always so much beauty to see there!  Holpe to see YOU there!
Happy Friday,
xx
Stephanie

Your beautiful pansies remind me that this cold will be gone in not too long and the flowers will be blooming again! Happy PPF!

These are so pretty! They have almost an abstract quality up this close. Lovely colors!

I always love your pansies!!

Since pansies are some of the first flowers we see in the gardens centers, they remind me of warmer days ahead. In one week, the days will begin getting longer! I'm always happy about that even though I don't notice it right away. My houseplants do though. They seem to perk up a bit with more daylight.

Happy PPF. I've got nothing this week, and know I won't have time for very many blog visits anyway :(

Merry Christmas to you and your family!!

Your pansies are beautiful. A pansy is such a mixture of strength and delicate beauty. I had one appear in my flowerbox the other day. It is standing all alone just full of energy. I really love your work.

Wonderful! Flowers are really hard to paint and you've captured the essence of them beautifully. Happy Painting.

Love the close ups of pansies, they are almost like portraits, going deeper and showing the personality of the nature!

Pansies are wonderful little flowers and yours are beautiful. I am lucky to live in a place where pansies are the "winter" flower. Happy PPF

what wonderful pansies! I adore the delicate petals and especially how you blend the different colors altogether to create the gentle strips of colors.

Ye Gads... it's your long lost Creative Sistah here ;)

I've been locked out of my dang blogger blog where I still use the reader to find my favorite blogs and I finally just got back in last night. I have no idea what happened.

What beauties these pansies are! Wow... I've so missed our conversations. Soon as school gets back in we've got to catch up!

xx oo Jaime

p.s. Happy New Year!
