Two more of my Klimt-y faces- this makes me almost caught up. I had some sort of stomach bug the last couple days and my energy has been down, down, DOWN! I think I'm back to normal tho.
Or what passes for normal with me!
Here's what it looks like (or most of it- part of the canvas got cropped
out and I don't have time right now to fix it;)) I've been playing with
the background more and parts of it, I'm really happy with- others not
so much. I'm toying with the idea of adding writing in, what do ya'll
think? The problem is, I now like it enough that I'm committed to doing
more than just painting 29 faces on it! Now I want to finish it, maybe
even keep it for my own self....or give it away or something, but first,
I have to get it to that point where I can declare it finis!
I'm including my palette here. And just for the point of interest, I
wanted to share the fact that I've been using this water container for
more than 20 years- it's become a sort of good luck companion for me.
Of course the inside stays clean but there are bits of acrylic all
around the outside which I LOVE.
It's like I get to keep a piece of every painting I've ever done!

I'll see you all tomorrow for PPF...
until then; cheers!

Dreamy, just dreamy! I love the flow! It is always hard to decide when it's "finished" . I often continue with a painting when I should have stopped and vice versa.
I do love writing but knowing where is difficult. sometimes I make transparencies of words and then lay them on the canvas to test.
See you tomorrow!
ooo I like the transparency idea that Peggy had. I am always scared I'll screw it up. Especially since it looks so pretty the way it is right now!
We all have some damn stomach bug too. Not bad enough to stop you from doing things, just enough to be annoying and keep you close to a bathroom! ech. glad you are feeling like yourself again.
xx Jaime
I think that bug is universal ...it hit here last week and I'm just now feeling up to par.
Love ! LOVE! LOVE! the painting and I like that transparency idea.
Totally add words.
Maybe small cursive(does anyone call it that anymore?)cursive writing following the shape of the women. Like an outline...you would have to be close to read it.
Or not.
Don't let me tell you what to do :)
But, you know I love, love this painting...and it keeps getting better.
Glad you are feeling better♥♥♥
Beautiful flow of imagery and color. Soft sensual and expressive. Just wonderful art!
i don't know if i've said it before but what a good idea to have all the faces in one painting. it is a fabulous painting! and i do like writing in paintings so i'm sure i'll like it if you add some. thank you for sharing!

Beautiful! I love the new additions. This painting is blowing me away Stephanie. Thanks for sharing with P&P again, it's such a pleasure to see your palette each week. That water container is a beauty. xx
