Day Two of Summer ART Camp!

Whew, things are HOPPIN' around here!  I did have time to take a few more pictures yesterday.....
each day we do two big projects plus a game and then lots, and LOTS of FREE ART!

We started by doing Illuminated Initials...

Then once all were done, we played a game; Musical Art which is my artsy version of Musical Chairs...

Then it was time for lunch and then, time to start the last project of the day, "Shoot for the Stars" which unfortunately, I just didn't have a chance to get any pictures of!
It's a shame too, because it was my favorite project of the day....
Now, I have to put my camera on the charger so I can get back to snapping pics when my little campers arrive!
xx
Stephanie
P.S. I haven't forgotten about the Summer of Color- just haven't gotten it done yet!

They look like they are having fun again - love the idea of an art camp! Wish I was small enough to join in! Hugs, Valerie

Looks like great fun, Stephanie! All the yummy color applied with great abandon. I am so stealing your Musical Art idea for my adult journaling class! :o) ♥

I'll bet everyone is glad you decided to have your summer art camp again this year. As usual, the kids look like they are enjoying it!

OHHHH!!! I get it now. It's a Summer Art Class at YOUR "retreat." How fun to have those darling kids come to you. It must be so much fun to see these kids making art and NOT lose interest. How awesome.

this looks like great fun - I remember going to a an art summer thing when I was little in a local hall somewhere and we learnt how to do that thing (I can't remember the name of it) where you colour the page in wax crayons then paint over it in black poster paint and then scrap off the paint to make your drawing with the coloured wax showing through - I loved that!

It looks like everyone is having a great time. My grandson is going to art camp this summer and he can't wait. I just finished an art camp for adults and it was wonderful. I was reintroduced to pastels and I love them.
If you ever decide to have classes for adults, please let me know. I live in Woodstock.
