Good morning- I finished my new painting on Thursday and this is the first chance I've had to blog about it. So here you go, it features the relationship between a Festiva Maxima peony and a budding Savannah Sunset iris with a dramatic play of shadows and light to make up the background. For information and pictures, check it out at my Etsy shop.
Cheers,Stephanie

looks really good : )
Your shading is magnificent on this one. I almost feel like I'm looking at it from my window. Your greens are so subtle. Beautiful.
I can almost smell the flowers, Stephanie! Beautiful!
Wow you are so talented! Thanks so much for your comment! I admire the fact that you are a Mom to 3 teens!!

As always, your latest painting is stunning. I have both irises (which haven't bloomed) and peonies (which never even budded), but even if they had put on their finest show, they would not have been as pretty as your painting.
Your paintings are just so lovely!!!
I loved my visit here!!!
Think I'll have to follow you and be inspired!
Wow, I love your shadows on this painting. It is truly lovely.

Beautiful, Stephanie! I can't get over your talent of painting such beautiful things. The light and shadow in this one is just amazing!
Hugs,
Sheila
