New original acrylic painting- Klimtish-ness

G'Morning all! Now that my crazy week is behind me, I'm trying to get caught up on the really important things that fell on the wayside; like blogging, and housework- well forget housework, that will come in good time, it's blogging that gives me that warm fuzzy feeling!
I managed to finish my new painting before the Artist's Market last week- I just didn't have time to share it.
So here's my Klimtish-ness. I LOVED trying to use his style; it's so different from my own....for anyone who would like to see detail images, she's also up in my Etsy shop.

I've got to get ready for the Farmer's Market now.....toodle-loo,

Stephanie

She is beautiful and very different from your usual style but I love it. I bet you had a fun time painting this. How long does it usually take you from start to finish?

Really like this Steph - you captured the style but still made it your own (I'm starting to sound like Simon Cowell... just watched him on TV for hours!!)

I just knew this painting was going to be indescribile! What on earth do I say!
The way you have painted the fabric...the fan, her dress...the pattern. That is impossible for me!
The soft colors and flowers and swirls do not detract from the face at all...
You are so talented, Stephanie. It's a good thing you are the sweetest person, or I could imagine being very jealous of you.

Lovely piece. I was involved with a local Fiber art group a collaboration of this exact piece. It won honorable mention at the quilt show.
