Anyway, I'm still happy with it, I just don't want it to become forced or over thought:)
So, without further ado, here is a bit more of my self portrait:
On my personal "to do" list for this
- the fan needs to be cream colored
- more white swirlies- I LOVE doing these!
- decide- koi or flutterbys in the little squares- they represent my children
- more cherry blossom on the branches

This is coming along wonderfully - so gorgeous! Like you I love painting/drawing swirls (you may have noticed my over use of them. Lol.) I love that you've set aside 3 squares to represent your children - such a lovely idea! I'm looking forward to seeing the finished piece.

I like this!!! It's gorgeous - your use of colors, the swirls, the squares (whatever you might put in there, I like the idea), the "crown" - everything flows together in harmony.

Wow Steph I think it's amazing already! You've captured a great likeness and also something of your femininity and creative, free spirit. I love the idea of having your children represented by butterflies or koi - both would be beautiful and very symbolic.
