I'm once again not going to be completely silent- I have to explain
so you'll catch the before and after-
the "after" being my mother's day pressie; a new bridge.......
So here's the old bridge, which we liked well enough at first..but the longer we looked at it,
the more it looked like a dock- which is not the effect we wanted at ALL!
So, here's the "before"
And here's the "after"
My sweet hubby rebuilt the old bridge using the old planks and cleverly
building a new base to support the arch.
The only question now, is what color to stain it?

OK, now I'll resume with being properly silent for my silent Sunday post......I promise ;)

Beautiful.
And I know it's even more fabulous being in it.

Loving your new bridge and your wonderful garden Stephanie. x
How to leave a silent comment?? Love your bridge and your wonderful garden! Clever Hubby, too! Hugs, Valerie
Not only do I love your new bridge (a definitely well designed Mother's Day gift), I also know why you would rather spend time in your garden. I've seen it before, but each time brings me more admiration for what you are creating out there. This is simply JOYFUL!
The new bridge is evocative of Monet's garden... perfect.
Your backyard is perfect!! It reminds me of my Mom's backyard, so private and peaceful. I'd be outside all the time if it was my backyard. :)
Gorgeous backyard! So peaceful! *sigh* Love the new bridge! ;)
GORGEOUS! Call me crazy (a given!), but I say a blend of (lily) orange and pink for the bridge :o) Can't wait to see what you do!
