Weekly Challenge- "Once Upon a Time"

Whew, I didn't think I would get something in here on time! But here is my entry for this week's challenge at Inspiration Avenue- "Snow White- Rose Red". The theme was "Once Upon a Time" and it led me to think of fairy tales. And since I've been having a tulip craving of late, I decided to do a tulip painting featuring a group of tulips most white except for one red......here you go:

Granted it's still a WIP, but hopefully ya'll can get the general idea of where it's going.  While you're at it, go take a peek at Inspiration Avenue to see what everyone else did.  It always ends up being a wonderfully diverse collection!
Have a great day!
Stephanie

Beautiful. I just planted tulips in those colors a few weeks ago. Snow here today-your tulips have me longing for spring already.

You make these tulips look so lifelike. I really appreciate your talent.

Due to internet problems this week, I didn't join the IA challenge for the first time in weeks. I really love what you did, though. Yes, I can truly see where you are going with these. They make me think of spring.

Ooh Stephanie this is so, so beautiful - I adore the single red tulip against the white, gives a great dramatic effect. I always drool over your flower paintings!

Beautiful painting! They look so real I could pluck them off the screen, especially the red one.
