Art me in the Garden

We have had some crazy weather these last couple of weeks- alternating between beautiful and the last bits of Winter.  I'm not complaining though, so many of my friends are still getting their last tastes of snow for the year!  Anyway, Sunday was glorious and my garden thriving, so I took some pictures.
I love this shadow on the chair- and the Azalea behind it was one of the few plants in the yard when we moved here almost 4 years ago

Some of you might remember the dry creek we started last year- well, I finished it last month

along with finally digging in this pond.  Now all we need is the right pump, some koi and a couple of water lilies and that too will be finished.  Please excuse all the lovely pollen floating in the pond......it comes with the season and until there's a pump and filter......

I love this sweet little coral bells tucked in here

my Jackmanni clematis- just getting ready to explode

path to my front garden- with nasturtium, delphinium and a pot in front of the clematis

So that's what's going on in my garden- soon there will be roses and foxgloves and so much more- I can't wait!  I think it might even be better than Christmas!
I hope all you are seeing the beautiful beginnings of Spring where ever you may be!
Cheers,
Stephanie

That's it ~ I'm moving to Georgia!! Your garden is so lush already...and we are still waiting to get above freezing.

I LOVE your dry creek bed and pond...and just everything else! It's all so green and gorgeous, gives me something to look forward to while I'm waiting for spring :D

You definitely are ahead of us here in Virginia with your springtime weather. I will probably get outside to start my garden in the next two weeks but we still have frost warnings. The creek that you started last year looks great as does all your plants. Don't you love Nasturtinms? They are my favorite-love to cook with them too.

So lovely. Am green with jealousy - we have a teeny weeny yard so I love seeing other peoples gardens.

Wow, wish we were this far toward spring, just barely getting rid of some snow this week...

Wow, I am impressed that you have finished your dry bed and pond. Pretty impressive after all the art you've been making the past few weeks. My tulips are not exactly blooming yet, but at least I have no snow on the ground. Glad to see a true garden in the spring.

oooo so pretty! I love the corral bells too. I bet we are all witnessing some future paintings here ;)

I'm so sad, I think I lost my crepe myrtle. :( I'm loving all the beautiful selection of plants you have!

You have such a beautiful garden!!! I love it. This is such an exciting time in the garden, I spend a lot of time there as well, weeding (never ending), checking out the new growth - it's lovely. I hope you will post more pictures as your garden "explodes".
