Weekly Challenge at Inspiration Avenue- "So Romantic"

Here is the piece I did for this week's challenge at Inspiration Avenue- the theme was "So Romantic" and it's the painting I've been showing in progress the last few days.
Here she is, completed:
I just listed her in my Etsy shop- for more images and info, click HERE.

I also finished this painting I'd put aside for a while.  It's been staring at me accusingly so I finally finished it!
"Embracing the Possibilities"
And for more info on this one, you may click HERE
That's it for me!  Be sure to stop by Inspiration Avenue to see what everyone else came up with this week.
Cheers,
Stephanie

"Through the eyes of a peacock" is surreal! I LOVE IT! Impressive! And your lady "Embracing the Possibilities" is quite charming, too. I like that you showed the finished piece.

They're both so beautiful. I love your use of color and balance in Through the Eyes of a Peacock . . . a truly stunning peace . . . I am enjoying the dream-like quality of the work--we're looking at her, as well as her visual relationship with the peacock feathers which is projected in the viewer's direction . . . it draws me and I feel apart of the experience.

Then, there is Embracing the Possibilities -- so different from the one above! Looking over her shoulder (and through the curve of her arm), I feel beckoned to follow her to this wonderful expansive place. Instead of an enclosed secret garden, we see a vast field truly filled with a many beautiful possibilities. Your attention to detail is beautiful.

:) Sigh, your paintings are beautiful experiences and wonderful for meditations.

Ooh she's fabulous - I love the way her hair blends into the peacock feather. I actually think most of your work could be entered for this week's theme, but that one is especially romantic!
