Art me in the Garden, Fools!

Happy April Fool's Day.  I think the biggest prank to date is the one Mother Nature has been playing for the last month!  Everything in my garden is at least a month ahead- we haven't even had out last freeze date yet.  But I'm fairly certain that we won't be seeing any more freezes for a few months!
The first happy surprise I got today is my Jackmanni Clematis- the first bloom is just beginning to open...

the last of my pansies- soon to be replaced with Impatiens

my bottle tree with my Lady Banks Rose

 Columbines with White Foxgloves

my anniversary rose- it's been blooming for the last week!

Peri doing what cats do best

my laughing frog fountain- I know he's silly, but he always makes me smile

I hope you enjoyed strolling through my garden with me- see ya'll soon!
x
Stephanie

I always love your garden! I'm envious that you are so far ahead of us weather-wise. Mother Nature HAS been a prankster this spring. We had a week's worth of 80+ degree days and then it dipped to 23 degrees one night. All the pretty blossoms were not happy. I think the blooms my apple tree had not popped out yet, so I'm hoping we will still have apples this summer.

It's been unseasonably warm here, too. That means I have to mow a lot more and quicker than last year. I am ready to turn on my AC, too. Yep, it's a real fool's day!

Beautiful! My garden's growing too but not as fast as yours! Now we're in the middle of a cold spell and I'm hoping everything will survive.

Would not believe your words & pics unless I was living this early spring too.

Nothing better than a cat in the garden.

Your garden is wonderful, very whimsical and lovely! We don't have near that much up yet here even though we're at least a month ahead too!

Ah Steph, your garden is enchanting. The weather has been gorgeous here and I too have been out playing in it. My dog loves to lay in the garden dirt. mmm...mmm...mmm...shaking my head. He likes the sun on his back but the coolness of the soil. Funny creatures they are. Your Columbine is so pretty. I can't wait for the Jasmine to bloom. The trellis is filling in nicely.
Hugs,
Enjoy your day!

Yes I did enjoy your garden, especially the frog fountain and your bottle tree! Never saw a bottle tree before! Here in the Philippines, they wrap fruit in plastic bags. Patsy from

It's easy to see how you're inspired to paint such gorgeous florals Steph!

You have a beautiful garden. The colour of that clematis against the green leaves is wonderful, and I love the quirky touches of your bottle tree and frog fountain! x
