Almost done with Kim's book...

This time of year, all I really want to do is play in the garden.  Except when I have a really inspiring project to work on!  So, here are the finished pages in Kim's round robin book.  I just did a little more tightening on the lady and painted in the flying bird.  All that's left to do is write a note to Miss Kim about what I did and why and then the book will be on it's way to Maggie.  I think I have Tammy's book next and I'm super excited to start playing in hers this week!

Anyway, here's what Kim's book ended up looking like:
Because the book is hand bound, I had to stay away from the seams
to avoid my paint bleeding onto other peoples pages.....
And here's the bird flying on to the next Round Robin destination...
Silly me, I glazed this before erasing my sketch marks,
so now they will be remaining with the painting- oops!
That's all for now.  I'll be around to visit all my Bloggity friends and try to get caught up before going back to the garden.  It's hard tho', because the flowers, they are a'calling....
TTFN,
Stephanie

Your girl and bird are hauntingly beautiful! There is a major story behind this picture.

I know the feeling about wanting to do nothing but garden..I am feeling the same. Oh, for a little more time!

Oh, gorgeous! I can't wait to receive this next. I am almost finished with yours, Steph, and then will send on to Lisa! I love that short page in the middle. It's like being able to see 3 pages at once.

The book is looking great! You sound like me - it's all I can do to contain myself from planting and playing in the flowers. It's only mid April and although we've been WAY above average since late February, there's still that chance for frost. I think I may plant some lettuce this week though. Hugs! ♥

I always feel I get an art lesson every time I visit. Your pages are not just lovely from a composition standpoint, but also because of all that color you have added to these pages.

I have begun to plant some herbs, but I've not even started any lettuce and now it's almost too late. My front garden is now so overgrown, I don't know if I'll ever get it manageable this year. Since I don't like to weed OR water, this seems to be THE year for the garden to take over! Have a great week, dear friend.
