I'm late and when I wave, I lose the time I save......"
White Rabbit from Disney's Alice in Wonderland
As usual, I'm right down to the wire wih my weekly entry for Inspiration Avenue. The theme this week was "Wonderland" and while I could have posted pictures of our first snow of the year, I'm an Alice junkie and could not resist featuring Alice in Wonderland. The only hard part was choosing what to depict. I LOVE the Cheshire cat and his "smile without a face" and the painted roses are definitely a fave also. But try as I might to include these elements, they didn't seem to want to "come to the party"......so I ended up using an "Eat me" cake, a great big Alice comprised of Tenniel's illustration and a mini painting of my own, and one of my favorite quotes.
So here's my entry for "Wonderland"

Brilliant, Stephanie!
Love it, Stephanie! So creative! I love the way Alice folds out!
I love them all. I love that illustration of Alice.
You are so correct....I feel the same way that there is not an Alice quote that I don't like.
See you in blogland,

Charlie
Oh wow this is fantastic.
Really really gorgeous.
You are amazing. It's the rare art I like with words in it & this is charming.
The breadth of your talent continues to delight.

Wow, this is SO cool Stephanie! I was trying to figure out what you submitted from the pictures on our team blog but it wasn't until I came over here and looked closer that I realized the collage, painting, pop-up creation you made - love, love, love it!!

Love it - love it!
I love that quote - it's such fun! It's a very clever creation. Love the cute white rabbit peeking over the toadstool!
Hi, I LOVE it all!! So cool! I have looked at your blog before, and now am following! I'm so glad you have the Teesha Moore links now, she is so awesome! Thank you for following my blog! It's been kind of empty lately... health problems with my Mom who lives with us, so I'm not always "feeling it" if you know what I mean.
Hugs,
Sheila
I love this and that it pops up and how it all fits together - so cool!
