This is a WIP for a commission I'm working on, and to be truthful I almost didn't share it at all! It's at that uncomfortable stage where probably only I can see where it's going and what it will be when complete! But I need to get back on track with my blog stuff so here ya go...
this is just the under painting and the colors will be quite different when I'm done,
but it will give you an idea anyway.......
That's all for now- I have to get back to painting- this is due next Wednesday! I'll be around to visit at PPF and P&PT- you should go too; there's always so much beauty to see there! And a little more- it's funny looking at it on the screen; to me, it doesn't look like I just put 3 more hours into it- but I did! Now I'm off to enjoy everyone else's art!
Have a great day!
Stephanie

Oh, it's gorgeous! Your work is so wonderful! Happy PPF!
You work very differently, is finished by areas in detail, the outcome is good.
Loving this progressing artwork & I think when you come up with this quality you can double dip all you want :)

I can see the time you spent, so much in the face , all the layers! It's beautiful!
Hi Stephanie. Glad to see you. Love your wip, it's looking great. Glad to see you are busy as it fills the day. Have a wonderful weekend and thx for stopping by my Paint Party Friday post. Take care.
It's always a treat to look at other creative's WIP. Thank you for sharing!
Wow, I can easily believe you put in 3 hours between the first and second views of your WIP. I particularly like the way you are handling the female. Love the way her hair is blowing. Also, the shading of the face and clothes is excellent. Faye
This is looking great, Stephanie! I'm looking forward to seeing the finished work :o)
Exciting WIP! Looks so vibrant and sunlighthy allready!
Lovely palette... and your 3 hours is showing!
Wow, I can't wait to see this finished, it's already looking amazing!
double dip away if it means are looking at this sort of gorgeousness... very very cool... and can't wait to see it finished...xx
As someone who doesn't paint, this really DOES look like you put 3 more hours in. I'm always impressed when I watch someone make a painting in 25 minutes on PBS. I would not have the picture sketched/copied in that length of time. I always enjoy watching your progress.
I love seeing your WIP's, it's fascinating to see how your paintings evolve.
Oh oh, this is just gorgeous! The horse is so beautiful painted, and the wind in the hair of the girl!:)
I like it a lot! :)
I don't know how I missed this post, well yes actually I do. I've been lost in the world of gardening, you know that hee hee... This is beautiful already!! I am always amazed at what you think is not at a good point!
Paint on my Creative Sistah, Paint on...
