Maggie's Journal Spread- DONE!

First, to all those affected by Sandy whether through worrying about loved ones or being personally affected- you're in my thoughts and prayers.  What a terrible, terrible storm!

I finished my spread for Maggie's journal yesterday, now all I need to do is a tag and then it's on it's way HOME to her!  Yep, mine was the last entry in her book!
I've never done a mermaid before, or rather, I've never finished one!  I've started them before and they've morphed into other things....so I really had fun with her.  In the nature of Halloween,
I felt compelled to give her a mask!

Today will be quite busy around here, I have the market this afternoon, so lots of baking in preparation, plus I need to finish my portrait and then of course, it's Halloween.  My daughter's having a party, so I need to get ready for that too!
Happy Halloween!
xx

This is really gorgeous Steph! I love the moody midnight blue background, your mysterious, sensual mermaid and the quote is fab! Maggie will love it! It's a bit sad that this is the final book isn't it? x

Oh Steph!! I can't believe I'm just now seeing this! I love love love this gorgeous mermaid. The quote is perfect, especially since she has jumped up and grabbed the moon, a little out of her element :) It will be a great reminder to me to step out of my comfort zone once in a while. I love the intense midnight background too. I can't wait to hold it in my hands.

I can't believe we are finishing the round robin. But I know we will do it again.

A mermaid on the moon, who would have thunk it? She's absolutely lovely.

How did I not know this was here? Sheesh, a day late and a dollar short. It is amazing! I absolutely love it! Did you make any prints? It's magical and mysterious. The mask is a sweet little addition. I know Maggie is going to be if not already thrilled to see her.
